Using Feedreader for RSS Feeds

RSS stands for Really Simple Syndication. Subscribing to an RSS Feed via Feedreader will allow you to automatically download updates from the Atlantic Power website. Feedreader dynamically reads, collects, and organizes RSS Feeds, and seamlessly delivers it directly to your desktop. So, it eliminates the need for you to constantly monitor our website for new content, while allowing you to immediately identify and retrieve new content – no matter how long you've been away from your desk. How to Subscribe to an RSS Feed from Feedreader

Click the icon next to each step to see a screen shot.

Step 1

Click New

Step 2

• Type in url: http://www.atlanticpowerinc.com/web/rss/
• Click OK

Step 3

• Click on which RSS Feed you would like to subscribe too
• Click OK
• Repeat Steps 1-3 to add another RSS Feed from Atlantic Power

Step 4

• You will now see the RSS Feed title on the left side of the screen
• Click on the RSS Feed title of the feed
• You will now see the items on the right side of the screen

Step 5

• Click on one of the items on the right side of the screen
• You will now see a more detailed description of the item
• Click on the title of the detailed description. You may need to click "Open in Browser" if it doesn't open immediately
• You will be directed to the Atlantic Power website where you can view the PDF of the item
